Executive rear seating / boot space.

Hoping to sell the RRS next spring and move up to a FF with the Executive Rear Seat option.

My query is if the Executive rear seat package impacts / reduces the amount of boot space? And if so, by how much?

I have never seen this option in the flesh but the images which I have seen appear to show the rear of the seats to be further back and encroaching into the boot space.

I would be looking to fit a dog guard in the vehicle (2 large brown labs) and was also wondering if it would need to be / can be positioned further back into the boot space to accommodate any potential / subsequent rearward movement of the Executive seats?

I would be looking to acquire a normal length FF and not the LWB version.

Any pointers / information would be very welcome.

Colin.

Hi Colin,

I have three Golden Retrievers and a LWB with Exec Seating and quite frankly its a bit of a squeeze, the seats do recline but they don't impinge on boot too much as base of seat slides.

They dont travel in it much, but the exec seating in my view is worth the sacrifice.

Thanks for that. I take it that you had no issues in fitting a dog guard?

Hi Colin,

As they dont go in there very often then i dont have one!!! But you should be able to fit one quite easily.
