2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Orkney Grey
Test drive

Very much enjoying having an Autobiography for a test drive this weekend. A great induction this morning with a 4 hour return trip to visit a sofa showroom.

Very familiar but at the same time very different to my MY12 Westminster.

Random thoughts:

- not as roomy inside, but remains airey enough once used to it
- feels very well screwed together
- really like the automatic footsteps; thought I'd be agnostic
- surprised how well the 3 litre engines performs, but I'd want a 4.4
- seats are certainly a step forward again - lovely
- really like the massage function
- infotainment is certainly a step forward, but response just feels slower than you should expect for a car at this price point
- electric boot is a nice feature
- welcome addition of more leg room in the rear seats
- panoramic roof is great
- filling up with fuel and looked back at her - didn't think I'd ever say this but she's at least a match for my L322 in looks, really has grown on me

So, do I think I'll be placing an order? I love my 322, but, I could easily see myself having a serious conversation. I think my only hesitation would be the quality of the infotainment, it should be better.

Mmmm

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

Nice looking car that one

Infotainment should be better - but IMHO just about good enough not to be a deal breaker Whistle

+1 on the infotainment. It's a shame as if JLR embraced Apple Car thing or the Android alternative it would be a different story.

Yes Corris Grey. Just had a Carpathian Grey L494 AB delivered though and personally I prefer the colour to Corris we have on the L405.
