I suspect yours is falty also.... Reason being they should just work once plugged in, I went and bought one from justinp this morning , fitted it to test and it worked instantly , this clearly verified to me that the previous tuner from kenno1974 was indeed faulty , he is a sound seller though and you should not have a problem , he has already refunded me as I sent it back yesterday recorded delivery.

I took my old one out, and bolted the new one in.. If you're going to do it this way, you will need to drill two more holes for the bottom mountings. I also put some spacers (2 washers on each mounting point) to allow for better air flow, as well as drilling holes in the mount opposite the fan.

Great call on the washers, just fitted them to mine Thumbs Up

Wiggs is a great source for the tuners too. Got mine from him, plug and play, left the old one in place and slotted the new one next to it. Took 5 mins max. Tom

Id be interested to know what the part numbers were on these faulty units as well as we know there are only 1 or 2 part numbers that work in the UK and quite a lot of ebay sellers sell foreign spec units without putting it in the listing... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

England 2006 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Barolo Black

Hello everyone, I am a newbie as of today Very Happy .

Finally bought myself a 2004 TD6 Range Rover Vogue.WOW what a car. I have had no issue's with the car apart from it having a analogue TV which is Touchscreen.

I was wondering if anyone could give me a Product Code for a replacement TV Tuner. I have read and read some of the post and seen the pics but i want to get the right unit that does not require a visit to the dealers to have it coded( If This Is Possible?).

Can you help.

Cheers Paul

John,

My vehicle is a 54 Plate so i assumed it was a late 2004 model. Any way i have took the plunge and have bought the digital tuner (£350) and it has worked straight away i am well chuffed. The only thing now is how do i remove the old one?

Cheers Paul

If the VIN number is 5A---------- then it is a 05MY.

It would appear that most people don't remove the analogue as it is a bit of a fiddle. I left mine in place and put the digital unit down alongside of it. Although that is only possible if you don't have another unit (RSE I believe but open to correction) already in the space. John
