Mine came from the factory with a punctured hose (robot had tried to push a connector through it). I fixed it with duct tape until the dealer could get a replacement - which was about 4 weeks. Duct tape is of course the LR repair tool of choice for this job as baling twine was too thin Land Rover Addict

pete , the chaffed blue pipe is on the offside rear where the pipe runs over the rear cross member, looks like it comes from the compressor and heads towards the back of the car, can't see where exactly,

If it comes from the compressor then it's going to the air tank, should be OK to chop through it then, if you need to get under it then I'd be tempted to put some axle stands under it just in case, then leave one of the doors open, do the fix, remove the stands, start the engine and let the pump run till it stops then try out up and down, should sort it.. cant you just cut it (at the damage), and recouple it with a pneumatic pipe push connector? for pence, like these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/8mm-Straight-Pus...542560b024

I don't think he needs to, the pipe in question goes to the air tank, he's got the repair kit, basically an 8mm straight connector, just cut the hole out the pipe and connect it up... Pete
