I had Pirelli Scorpions fitted to my FFRR in the harsh winter of 2010/11 and they never once lost grip. I've just fitted a set of Michelin CrossClimate to the Subaru as they get great reviews, so far they feel good, low road noise and grippy, just waiting on your bone theory to come to fruition to test them to the max |

I do think mechanical physics and taking it canny and see you thru a lot. I realise that the softer compound will help on the tyres but I'd rather keep the £100's in the bank....at least it's there for the paint repairs when I end up in the field due to my Nexens!

is the 'censored' thing automatic or Mod'd? I didn't think my word was particularly offensive or rude. But, hey, I was born and breed in Glasgow! |

Mods can put any word they think may offend in a 'naughty' box and when you send a mod naughty word downline to a thread the software censors it

Vreds are OK but I would go online and order a set of Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow (Pirelli Winter I think they're called now). Those are what I use in the winter and they've never let me down.
