I'm not an expert, but those wheels look like copies to me.

I thought genuine Overfinch had a larger hole in the centre so needed the matching OF caps - the RR ones are too small

The newer ones have Overfinch cast into one of the spokes - with older ones you'd need to take them off & look at the back to be sure.

Not sure why there's a pic of a completely different car in pic 3 - implies it's a dealer who parks them in the same place for the photos ?

Hello All - I too am looking for a Supercharged and rather than start a new thread thought I might mention it here. My budget is slightly higher, but not a lot higher!!!!

Just phoned up one for sale and it was sold at the weekend. It would appear that if the Superchargers are at the right price they sell and a few grand more then they hang around. I learnt this also when I was selling a Porsche on autotrader. I tried it on for a few grand over and nothing. Then dropped it down to the same price as everyone else and then the phone started.

I am looking for a Black SuperCharged for around 11 to 13k. Will pay the right price for the right car as I am aware that a well looked after one if better than a slightly cheaper one. I am going to have a look at a couple tomorrow.

Question - I always change the oil and filters once I buy a new car, this is a matter or routine. With a Supercharged, is there anything else you would recommend as a matter of routine. For example, gearbox oil?

Question - Does the 4.2 have a cam belt to be changed or is it chain?

I shall keep you posted and hopefully join the fold very soon.

Regards
03

So found one that could be a goer Smile, however the rear parking controls and cameras only worked intermittently, could this be a big problem? Any clues as to what it could be and how much i should cover for fixing...

thanks all..

This thread addresses rear view camera issues that can potentially be cheaply fixed, particularly if you try to DIY:

And some assistance with parking sensor issues:

Thumbs Up

Great thanks for the links, its interesting been to see three now, one abused, the other two loved cars but with little niggles, which has got me thinking perhaps not as loved? On my own cars I always get things sorted, even the little stuff...

Yep, fun, but can be a nightmare... there are plenty out there so hang out for the right car....

Blales03, no Range Rovers have cam belts no matter what engine they have....

I always change ALL fluids... Engine, box, transfer, 2x axle, brake, coolant, power steering... For what it costs it seems daft not too... make sure the gearbox gets the original fluid and not "Dextron we fit everything" oil...!!! Pete

Right so think i have found one, 83k, tested it over the weekend and all looks good, the only query i have is with the spec, when i do the HPI check is comes up with Range Rover Vogue, not Vogue SE, i thought all the supercharged cars where VSE spec??
Can anyone advise?

cheers

What year is it/ VSE for the 4.2SC, yes or Autobiogrpahy Spec.

It could just be a simple admin omission.

Have you tried:

1. Reading the log book/ cross checking chassis numbers on log book and on the actual car to check for anomalies?

2. The DVLA website to see what that lists it as?

3. Getting an online insurance quote to see what that lists it as?

4. Does it say 'Supercharged' on the odometer; say 'V8 Supercharged' under the bonnet; have 'Supercharged' badges on the aluminium door tread plates; have VSE 'kit' such as factory 20" wheels, factory fitted RSE, cooled and heated seats (dials for that are either side of the analogue clock)?

I think it's a vogue no rse or cooled seats, I guess the S/C could be speced as a vogue rather than vougue se, everything else checks out, chassis, dvla, topix...
