After a few years without a ff i am back behind the wheel. On saturday i bought a 2006 4.2sc . Done just over 140000 but full dealer history. I have already started doing the jobs it needs

Thanks guys. You are right Craig, i forgot to add that to the list but all oily bits will be getting serviced even though it was only done at main stealers 2000 miles ago

A few more jobs done today. Got rid of the horrendous dumbo ears that are supposedly mudflap (should get another 5 mpg now! ). Gave it a good clean including stripping the rear end and getting in all the nooks and crannies. Ordered a set of pirelli scorpion verdes from this very forum (thanks Mark ).

its booked in tomorrow for 4 wheel alignment and will hopefully have the new tyres this weekend so should be ready for a road trip to Scotland in a couple of weeks

thanks guys, yes the interior is very nice. Seller thought it was blue and cream but its actually black and cream. Just a couple of bits needing attention on the interior like the cup holder rubbery coating is peeling and the drivers armrest is a bit discoloured but other than that its really tidy Paul

Got the 4 wheel alignment done. Also replaced all the tyres with pirelli scorpions (thanks Mark ). So now it goes around corners Paul
