United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV6 Corris Grey

Sorry, just spotted this thread.

I took delivery of a 3L vogue SE last week. A customer had wanted to cancel his order and the sales guy knew it was pretty much what I'd been looking for so I got it within a week. Smile

First impressions are that it's wonderful. What a super refined vehicle. Interior is lovely in Ivory.

I found this forum simply by searching to find out where the battery was located! Great forum. Thanks!

I did own a 2011 5L Autobiograpy for about a year in 2013/2014. Loved that. I still regret selling it. I part-x'd it on a sudden mid-life-crisis whim to buy a sports car I spotted! That has since gone as it gave me a bad back! :-/

So delighted to have a lovely FFRR once again. Smile

France 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black
Hi from over the Channel

So finally took the plunge to register this forum after becoming the proud owner of a 2006MY RR since Easter this year.
I started my Land Rover addiction in 1997 when I bought accidentally a Lightweight as a second car, then I needed another car for my everyday use, it could only be a Land Rover so went for a classic RR I still drive today (I share it with the FFRR to make no jealous). When the L322 went into production I wanted one, a petrol one of course but as I can't afford such a vehicle until it is 10 years old, I had to be patient ... Then I discovered that LR will release Jag motorized versions in 2005 and as I didn't really liked the mix bmw engine / British car, had to wait 10 years again! Well in fact I waited only 9 years, second hand FFRR prices seem to fall ever more quickly. Finally after looking for a 4.4 or 4.2 many months in France what appeared to be a challenge, I widened my search abroad where petrol motors are more common and finally I fall on a supercharged in Germany I visited and bought because it was exactly as I wanted : no metallic light grey paint, no tinted glasses and LPG converted.
Pictures to be seen in the forum ''my Range Rover'' (if I manage to post)
The first things I did:
- bought a IIDTool
- replaced the LPG tank by the biggest one can put in the boot
- replaced the navigation DVD that still was the 2005 version !
- changed differentials and transfer oil (according to the handbook gearbox and engine oil were serviced recently)
- had the front brake hoses recall serviced (this was the first time of my life I went into a LR garage)
To do:
- relocate the eas pump where the tow attachment is stored
- buy winter wheels

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover HSE Td6 Santorini Black
IST TIME RR OWNER - IST PROBLEM ENCOUNTERED!!

Good day all.
I'm a first time RR owner, just bought a 2007 RR Sport HSE after a lifetime of driving Beamers.
Got to say it's a great truck, I'm only the second owner and it's just done 88k.
I read a lot of web pages and forums on potential problems with LR vehicles but took the plunge anyway.
And so to today, first problem encountered, so, thought I'd register on this forum to hopefully iron out this issue and take good advice from the forum members who know what they are talking about.
I'll post the problem separately but hi to all from sunny South Wales.

Wales 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Adriatic Blue

Hello Team,
Trust well.

Now a proud owner of a FFRR. The beast we will probably rebuild during time of ownership but love doing so! Anyone with a Rear O/S light cluster for sale for a 2002 to 2004 model?

Anyway, this is the way to travel, it is great to drive a car knowing we can drive it in the aftermath of the great Welsh earthquake that will no doubt one day happen, after I get my rear light fixed first!

By the way, you know that circular tin plate the other side of the disc brake, the mud shield, if it rattles, can I just fix it with with a bit of glue?

All the very best and thank you for your time.
Welsh Walrus Jones.
Thumbs Up

Welcome.

Use some large washers that cover the gap in the holes for the bolts. John

You will find the tin shield has rusted away and left a far bigger hole, as suggested above, strip it down and have a selection of penny washers to hand and simply insert a bigger one between the small bolt head and shield Thumbs Up

Very easy fix Thumbs Up
