much reading on here and so pleased it's a great resource!

I've probably missed it in searches and general reading but now that I'm looking for one of the following, I'd appreciate knowing of anyone who sources vehicles or does a inspection service for FFRRs when buying privately (or even possible from independent dealers). There are well known people who specialise in specific other makes but haven't seen names on here. I'd rather have someone who knows the cars well enough to inspect rather than me going through longs lists of the 'buying guide' etc!

I'm looking for a 2008 TDV8 (for head) or 4.2 Supercharged (for heart). Mileage won't be huge so the lower price of a slightly older 4.2 with higher fuel costs may balance out with the TDV8 higher cost. In reality, the TDV8 would be first choice as may be able to then use it as main family car!

Also, if anyone knows off-hand or has a tape measure handy, can someone tell me the height from ground to open tailgate in lowest suspension setting?

Thanks. Sorry - I wasn't very clear in my mail. I actually meant to the lower (loading) tailgate (ie the one that lays flat)!

Lucky I still have my tape measure handy!

The height to the flat floor of the lower tailgate from the floor is 31½ inches / 800 mm
