Well I went in to main stealer on way home from work and asked if they could turn my main beam into DRL and they looked at me like I was making it up so about ten minutes later the young apprentice came back over said I was correct and it can be done but they don't know how they are going to look in to it and call me back fingers crossed |

At the risk of hijacking my own thread, main dealer charged me £120 to make a change to the ccf, I immediately bought an IIDTool to reverse it as SWMBO didn't like it.

Two touch unlocking, she got fed up of being left standing at the pavement whilst I drove off so I set it back to one touch unlocks all the doors. I might not need an IIDTool to do this on my more recent machine but this was on the red one (still my favourite) I am interested in setting up the headlight main beam as a drl, when I get the right colour light that it - as if by magic back on topic Geoff |

IID - I run my 'main beam' (i.e. the useless ones next to the actual bi-xenons!) all the time as DRL's. Have some photos somewhere - however if yours is the BMW era (i.e. pre 2005/6 facelift) then I'm not so sure if it can be done as easily. Land Rover Addict

Pop over to DISCO3 and speak to member "geoff." (note the full stop). He's based in Kent but I think he gets to Essex quite often and can sort it for you. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK Discovery 3 TDV6 Auto HSE Zambezi Silver |

Tried some of the H7's from stan's link, no "whiter" than the ones I already had, still yellowy. Never mind I have some spares now .
