Farmer I heard of, Had travellers turn up on his land, so he waited until night when they were all in bed and blocked there on access/egress. So they could not leave his land for 3 weeks to make any money tarmacking or collecting scrap. They have never been back. My Motto: If you are going to have one, have a BIG one! |

I'm guessing you meant 'can' cause criminal damage? We have to take exaggeration into account. It's probably just the farmer dragged it onto the road with a chain between the towing eye and a tractor. Or just put the telehandler forks under the car some some blocks of wood causing minimal damage. If no damage is caused then they can't claim for it. Or maybe the car's owner just failed the attitude test when the Police turned up. "Yeah we can arrest the farmer for Criminal Damage, but we'll have to arrest you too, for doing the same to his concrete. Are you sure you want us to persue it?". |
