This Forum is Great!

The forum has been extremely useful in diagnosing many of the problems I have experienced, and has so far resulted in my being able to fix;

Smoke under heavy acceleration which was diagnosed as a technical bulletin modification and fixed under warranty.

Hesitation when cruising, diagnosed as an injector issue with a technical bulletin fix and carried out under warranty.

Boot window seals rotten and replaced under warranty.

Suspension air pump replaced with later upgraded type after fault warning, again under warranty.

Wheel arch rust spotting and fixed using parts and methods described on the forum.

Diagnosing FBH noise and confirming all was normal.

Replacing corroded wheel centre caps under warranty.

Deciding which tyres to use.

Plus many other smaller questions answered.

The warranty work alone has saved me several thousand pounds. Thank you fullfatrr.com!

This forum is great - but it does keep growing my list of preventative maintenance.

Things which I would never have known about include
1. PCV valve and pipework (done all 4 pipes)
2. Regular change of gearbox oil (LR sealed for life Rolling with laughter )
3. Bagpipe Andy's piston ring kit
4. Repair to LCD dashboard
5. Replace rear wiper
6. RSW AllComms
7. Rear wheel arch rust prevention
8. Merc Sprinter Bottle Jack (to replace LR supplied suicide jack Rolling with laughter )
9. Possible sudden failure of Air Struts
10. Wiper Relay YWB000060 failure
11. Likelihood of water pump failure
12. Reduced temp engine thermostat (80deg - thanks @Haylands)
13. Rear Manifold Hose adapter to Heater failure (the stubby one!)

SO thank you Forum Bow down Bow down Howard
