United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey
[Wanted] 62 Plate L322 Westminister or VSE with less than 35

As above

My Dad is after a 62 plate VSE or Westminster (Or Autobiography) but it has to be less than 35k miles

Ideally he would also like a genuine towbar, gen fixed side steps/mudflaps as well although we can fit those later if needed.

The only exterior colour he will not consider is black

He has the cash there waiting for the right car - we are just struggling to find any. Ideally south east England but willing to travel as they seem fairly thin on the ground

Thanks

Sam

Yes 4.4 TDV8

Dad just wants a low miles one - there have been two that slipped through our hands that had 14k and 24k miles

Budget is market price really, looking at around the £40k mark

Thank you for your help - but most of those are out due to being black or an L405

1 L405
2 Quite a high price for the age/miles (12 plate)
3 Black
4 Black
5 Black
6 This one is on our list - but as not a 62 plate not a top contender
7 Again 12 plate
8 Black
9 At Saxtons (say no more!)
10 L405
11 61 Plate so year older
12 No details at all!!

Maybe he is being too fussy....but there have been two very local to us that were perfect and we just got pipped to the post both times!

Who is GAZ?

I think you'll find that when they come up you have to literally get out the door as soon as you see them as they will soon be gone.

If it has everything he wants and at a good price why not wrap it Very Happy Only kidding!

The 405' are coming down a little but holding their value very well!

The 12plate and 62plate... he could buy and stick a private plate on it for £300 and no one would know and the spec difference is minimal a best between 12&62 Smile

I know the mileage is much higher but, it is £10000 cheaper which will help get the other bits, and the depreciation wont be as bad as the others unless he does loads of miles in the next few years it will quickly even out...

This one has 2k more miles but cheaper than budget as well...

Your second from last post is currently the top of the list!

More like I will be driving him up there in my FFRR at the weekend!

How close is Orkney grey to Stornoway grey? Mine is stornoway so we would end up with almost matching cars again (we both had Adriatic blue 2002 models last time although his was a TD6 and mine a VCool

He originally set his mileage limit to 25k!!

It is less about the cost of the car for him (as long as it is a fair price) and more to do with the condition and miles. He will keep this one for 8 to 10 years like his last one. If he gets one with low miles (and he does low miles per year) then things like suspension components don't really end up wearing out in his ownership and just gives him reduced work/hassle over the period of ownership.

He sold his 52 TD6 with only 87k miles on it!

Whilst an L405 would be nice, it seems hard to justify that a 6 month newer car with a very similar spec and the same miles is worth the £25k (or 60%) increase in cost over a last of the line L322. We just don't think the move from L322 to L405 is worth that much
