So Craig ... for those that follow in your mighty footsteps for Road Trip to South France... what wisdom do you think you learnt.

eg. Would it have been better to have smaller distances each day to enjoy the "road" trip?
Tag problems ?
What would be different next time?
What turned out to be an unexpected / pleasant result?

Or simply next time fly instead Rolling with laughter Howard

In a perfect world maybe? The only day i felt was too long was day two! BUT! That was VERY wet and out speed was very much pegged! So, if the weather had been kinder Whistle
Tag problems ?
Only on the motorway approach to the Alps Whistle Two Tag stations only! So no huge issue in the end! Thumbs Up
What would be different next time?
The wife would get a travel charger for her Kindle Whistle
What turned out to be an unexpected / pleasant result?
The whole experience really... Loved it & would do it again Thumbs Up

Or simply next time fly instead Rolling with laughter
Hmmmm NO sir! Half of our trip was all about the travelling! YES, the wife would have preferred to have flown! BUT, from Mont Blanc down through Italy, through those tunnels on the racetrack that is the Italian motorway down to the coast! Wow, just perfect! Thumbs Up

Thanks a lot for the info. I think my wife would prefer to fly as well ... she gets sea sick in the bath Rolling with laughter
Doubt she would go for chunnel either.

So no other option but to have her shipped out freight and she can join me and my daughter in France. Howard

Smutt,

Exactly my point my friend... My wife enjoyed the whole experience BUT, only as far as a non petrol head could... Bow down She is so lovely about these things... She tolerates my love of all things with wheels and gets involved generally without moaning, but asked her honest opinion Whistle she would have chose to fly... Rolling Eyes Bow down Thumbs Up
