Gear indicator light staying on ?

...I don't know if its something I haven't noticed before or something worse....but after shifting to park, handbrake, and leaving the car, I noticed the small red light indicating "park" stays on....

i'm pretty sure this isn't normal... but maybe i just noticed it now the night are dark earlier ?

any ideas ?

Normal, it should turn off after 10-20 minutes when the BCM has gone to sleep.

I spent ages fretting over this when I first got my FFRR... that and the fan which runs for 15 minutes. Thought I'd been stitched. 15 minutes sat in car locked eventually put my mind at rest Laughing ... and onther 15 minutes just to be sure. Couldn't scratch my Censored incase I set the alarm off Very Happy

Thing is touch owt electronic and the systems wake up again and the clock restarts. 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS

Previous Landrover products -1990 110 TDI CSW, 2003 TD6 Vogue - RRC TD Vogue, RRC v8 Fleetline, Disco ES V8 LPG, 101 Ambulance "Morph", 1964 SIIa Auto Powered by Jag 4.2 Lump - "Percy".

of subject a bit but did any one look at the cool way the analogue clock went back when you set the time back a hour..[silly i know Very Happy ] ... - .- -.

Shocked Note to self - chenge the clock in the RR..... 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS

I had to laugh - we were underway in the RR on Sunday and the wife adjusted the time. And then had to change the clock back to daylight savings time and then back again to show the kids. Razz
Sure beats the heck out of holding the button forever like in the P38...
