U0104 error advice please

Hi, I am new here and was wondering if anyone could help diagnose what is causing this error.

I very recently purchased a 2009 Range Rover Autobiography. It has been remapped and had a pulley upgrade.

The issue is that cruise control doesn't work, I get the message "Cruise control not available" The car has adaptive cruise control if that helps. When I plug my OBD scanner in, I get U0104 Lost communication with cruise control Module.

When I bought the car from an independent car dealer I was told that the map was causing the issue. I didn't didn't really believe that. But he did say that if it was something else causing the problem he would pay for it to be rectified. Ive got the car booked into a landcover main dealer tomorrow for a brake hose recall and they are going to take a look, So I just wanted to be armed with a bit of information as to whats what.

Thanks for any help.

Sorry, i can't help with the code, but the dealer is telling you porkies.

No way would a remap knock out cruise availability!!
