Rear light cluster removal

Anyone got any tips on this as they didn't seem to want to come out easy earlier and recall seeing posts about them getting broken quite easily as well which is never good when you just want to change a bulb Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

When my rear lights didn't want to come out initially I cut a thin wedge out of soft timber, put it into the vertical joint between each light and the bodywork and tapped it gently with a hammer.
The lights then slowly moved rearwards until clear.
No damage to either lights or bodywork.
Before refitting I greased the mounting pins so they would come away easily in future.

That's a good idea NDF, I think I have the perfect wedge of wood for it as well so will give it a whirl this morning 👍 FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
