England 2010 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black
Land Rover Experience

Hi All,
Just to say, went on the LRE 1/2 day at Chilterns Centre, well worth the experience and many thanks to Dave, who was our instructor. We are now more confident of what the car can do. Must say that it gives you a taste for more (hope that wears off soon Rolling with laughter ). 'er indoors loved it too, even swore as she went over the steep drop Laughing . Sorry I haven't had time to post more pics of the car (not too sure how to do it) but am going to try one now for iT Lad.......

Next July???? Oh No! wrong colour interior Whistle . Been following your search on here, good luck with it.

cheers

pete

Paul, there is a link on the Land Rover website to the LRE website, or your local friendly dealer will be able to tell you. All the LRE's are great fun and now there are sites all round the UK, although we only have a single LRE up here so for some it's a bit of a hike. If you are oaring for the all day LRE IIRC it is about £350 a head! It isn't a cheap day out unless your dealer sends you along at his expense. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

wow, that's good.

what's the best way to get hold of some? My dealer sold me a secondhand FFRR earlier in the year so I'm guessing I missed out getting them thrown in - not sure a retrospective ask would be successful.... Sad

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue

I just did a full day Level 1 at the Ashford centre (same owners as the Chilterns franchise) last Saturday in a MY10 Range Rover. It was a great day out. For those that haven't done the half day but are contemplating the full day, I'd say do the full day and don't bother with the half. The first half of the Level 1 course repeats a lot of what is taught on the half day session. For me, it was really good refresher. The second half of the day was in the forest. Thankfully (or not) it rained heavily the night before so that ground was very muddy and wet.

All in all I had a great time and would really recommend it. Even if you have no intention of leaving the tarmac, it is great to see what the car can do (and to be able to drive someone else's RR sideways).

Here are some pictures

At the end of the day. The picture doesn't do it justice. Up the other side of the car was layers of mud.

Into the forest we go. A couple of guys opted for the Defender. I think if I was to do it again, I would do the Defender to learn the skills without the electronics.

Range Rover on the embankment (from memory I think it was between 32-35 degrees)

Defender on the first half of the day

Discovery 4 over the ruts

Range Rover Sport - it kept raining throughout the morning

A couple more Defender pictures

I'm desperate to have a go at this! It seems a lot of people get them for free from dealers Sad , is there anywhere else to get them at a discount ?

Do you always use an LRE vehicle, or your own ?

Cheers

Andy Very Happy

LRE vehicles only.

If you find your local one here:

http://www.landrover.com/Microsites/GWS40M...REMap.html

You can contact them directly and pay (I believe), if you can't get a voucher from a dealer.
