French members and local meet

Hi Gang,

There are a few of us here in France, either expats of locals, and I am sure we would be happy to meet in France or the UK.

I know the following members are interested in meeting, so let us all mention where we are located and see if we can arrange something: SH-UK, Robert, Weegie, defenderr.

Here are the info we may need, please fill this in and let's see what we can do.

Good idea Thumbs Up
Here’s me:
Screename: bebechoon
Location in France: Montauroux, 20-25km inland & north-northeast-ish of Saint-Raphael & Fréjus
Event attended: none recently!
I would like to meet in: I don’t drive much these days (old and decrepit … and that’s just the car!) so the closer the better. Let others make the decision, and I’ll see … (Toulouse could be OK as my daughter lives there) It's "bébéchoon", ackcherly, with accents. 'Steve' to my chums.
20 years ownership of Solihull products, ALL GONE NOW, sniff!
Current motor: Suzuki S-Cross 4WD auto, 1.4 petrol. Oh so reliable! 7 years now and no problems. Oh, all right then, a leaking shocker replaced under guarantee.

Not to mention the Lada Niva before those. (I said not to mention it!)

Thumbs Up OK for me but please don't start with meetings, budgets, secretaries, treasury and presidents of the club. I know the French love their "associations" but that is not my cup of tea Wink

Screename: Robert

Location in France: Perigueux

Event attended: Land Rover events? none

I would like to meet in: a good restaurant, a pleasure house, a casino, on the beach Cool
tbh where is not that important to me, as long as the pleasure involved makes up for the ride.

I have no will nor time to make anything official, this will(would) be a gentlemen's (and women) meet in, say, a nice relais chateau or great restaurant, nothing too fancy but definitely not a meet on a Leader price parking lot the a quick Flunch meal, staying at the Formule 1 hotel Rolling with laughter l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

J90 welcome in this part of the world, somewhere mid october is the holiday season, normally there will be something for petrolheads around Sarlat, Bergerac or Perigueux, so a few of us could certainly meet. Thumbs Up
