What's up with my mirror?

My drivers door mirror now has a brown tint and is blurred. It's like double vision looking at it.

I know they're heated. Has it burnt out or something?

They have a special liquid in them which automatically dims the mirror in the dark, over time the liquid can leak out which has what's happened to yours. You can either buy a new one not cheap at around £100 or just buy a standard non 'dipping' type for around £15

Mine exploded when I hit a builders truck, and the brown goo went down my passenger door. I let it dry till next day. Jeez it was a sod to polish it off next day. -went with the £15 one and promptly smashed that one too. -the product of driving a small car at work, and a proper car by night.
