Pdc Sensors

Today I had both my bumpers off to inspect the PDC sensor wiring and found this in the rear bumper

I've replaced the harness in the rear which cost me £38 from landrover s so I put them both back on thinking this had solved the problem however I put it into reverse and the long beep has gone to be replaced a quick beep but the sensors are still not working ,So i put it in park and went and had a listen to all the sensors and found front drivers side not clicking away which means next job is to replace that one, My question is though are they a generic sensor as landrover want £85 for one and you can get ones on ebay for £14 with a ten year warranty (Bullshit)

They are a certain type of BMW one IIRC upto 2009 when i think they changed but dan couldconfirm via a part number check across the ages.

They have to have a certain output you see to be picked up by the PDC correctly. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Was it pre painted as that's quite good value! Don't forget a bit of silicone spray or wd40 before fitting to help keep water out as that's what normally kills them other than accidents 😄😉 FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
