Letting that many in is just ridiculous, there is no way at all the security services can clear those people quickly enough or check thru their histories/links and so forth.

IMHO i think the borders should just be closed currently unless 4 exceptions.

1. You have family here and abide by a visa and are willing to be tagged when you come in the country and if the tag is tampered with you'll be found and dejected from the country post haste.

2.Youve been on holiday and are coming back home

3. your an expat or have a right to claim UK citizenship.

4.Your on a work sponsored visa thingy and are coming here to work and contribute to the country.


The other option is they let them in. They can then live in the middle of wales or northern ireland where the populous is very low and plenty of big spaces to build a new town for them and so on, then if they are a family one member has to submit to National Service for 5 years. This could be anything from working as a road repairer, litter picker, or ideally in the army and sent back to syria or such like as one big contingent of 100,000 foot soldiers to go flush isis out and crush them. This last option is a bit tricky but would then prove they are wanting to make their country safe and fight isis.

Germany wants to take some ridiculous number in, they will end up in the same situation as Sweden has done where some schools only have one native swede in there and then struggle to educate them in their countries language and customs..

It's about time that modern Germany stopped carrying the guilt of the past. There is now no need for Germany to bend over backwards to accommodate 500K 'migrants' a year in order to prove to the world that they are now an inclusive society.
Germany has now effectively destabilised its own Democratic society built from the ashes of WW2.
Western democracies have many faults but they are in essence forward looking and do their best to promote equal rights for everyone. What concerns me is the hundreds of thousands of 'immigrants' who bring with them 3rd world medieval values that undermine for example religious freedom, education for women, votes for all and trial by jury.
I just wonder why Saudi and the the other wealthy Islamic countries have not opened their doors to their neighbours in distress.

I saw a news report early this morning on either the BBC or Sky news Showing that the population in Germany has been in steady decline for years and actually needs immigration, it also stated that the UK is soon set to become the densest populated country in Europe and also showed a graph of number of people per dentist as an example of public service availability, we were second only to Poland as worst.

Our country was near bankrupt a few years ago and statistics show my local council expendeture runs to something like 85% of its budget is spent on social care - we have already experienced significant service cuts and now they want us to vote for a voluntary rise in our council tax.

We have British children raised from local families with long family history at certain schools in their catchment areas turned away because there are only spaces left for East Europeans.

A local factory I worked at when I left school refusing to take English unskilled workers as they would not understand their co-workers language.

My local mini - supermarket resorting to locking one of its main entrance doors near the booze isle due to repeated thefts from East Europeans who know that the police will only prosecute if the owners pay for an interpreter, so they steal small amounts each time then claim they speak no English.

Numerous people I work with have been hit by uninsured east European drivers and have had to pay for their own repairs.

And I look at the videos of people trying to break into lorries in Callais and not see a single woman, child or elderly person among them - why aren't these young men forming a resistance movement against ISIS?

When the agreed number of migrant arrive, where on earth are they going to be dropped off? -a bus load for every borough?
I have sympathy for these people, but cannot understand how we can just take them, and not see makeshift campsites appearing on the neighbourhood horizon, and people walking around 'seemingly begging'. If they are not doing this, then where will they be?
Everyday folk have seen their day to day amenities erode, and we are sort of expecting these people to join in in our way of life. -if they don't then they will stick out badly, and cause major neighbourhood resentment.
We can expect food vouchers, free charity shop goods etc. and people sitting around unable to work.
What on earth are the daily mail readers going to be talking about all day?

The thing for me is that Turkey and Hungary have large spaces and ability to take them.

They just get less in handouts and healthcare than they would here.

China builds entire cities just to use up loads of its money and avoid profit taxes and such. Surely it would be cheaper to hire out some A380's and start shipping them over to these cities by the bucket load to bolster chinas population and they could then have homes and a safe place to live that are otherwise sat idle?

They could then be sent down the coal mines or local foxconn factory and work there.

Is their plan to just slowly oust the original populous of their target countries and force us elsewhere?

I suggested on FB that for those who live in NI they wouldn't need to worry about it as they have enough troubles of their own at the moment that ISIS wouldnt bother sending any people or cells there, oh and they would have to get on another ferry/lorry combo...

What I have not heard yet are the plans on when they will be sent back to Syria. They should all be sent back when the fighting stops or when there is a regime change and its deemed safe to live there.
I have this crazy idea that a refugee should go to the closest safe haven and wait until it's safe to go home!
In this country there are not enough houses to house our natives let alone the the thousands that arrive every year wanting a better life. And what about jobs?
I think the Syrian people need help, but in the form of world military aid to wipe out the utter nonsense that is Isis.

Here in France we though, why not buy an Island big enough to receive them all, bring them there, let them have it their way, close the ferries and tunnels and when they want to go back to their native country they can be transported back. The only island big enough is the UK.
