First time poster and I wish it were a more directly RR related post but I hope someone can give me some advice.

Late in May, I bought engine and gearbox tuning for my 2007 FFRR TDV8 from an English company. Paid 1060£ up front. The package containing programming hardware was sent shortly thereafter but held by customs at Stanstead due to missing some kind of export number. Both TNT and I tried to contact the firm on several occasions but to no avail and after 30 days, the package was returned to the sender. I have sent several emails and talked to a receptionist who promised to look into it but have had no reply. They totally ignore me. What are my options? I is a long drive from Norway to Kent. Are there any kind of consumer rights organization to contact?

Firstly if you paid by credit card then they should be able to act for you and perhaps give you a refund (this is common practice in UK but might be different in your country).

If you get stuck with this you can always get it posted to me and then fly over from Oslo to Aberdeen I know it's not ideal but it's easier than driving

Credit card companies SHOULD support you if you didn't receive the goods. There can be problems if the goods are poor or broken, but not receiving anything means they should help.

As for the company, that's pretty bad behaviour! It seems it was their error in the first place. Can you not get through to anyone in charge. After this amount of time, free next-day courier dies not seem unreasonable.
