2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Orkney Grey
Potential new owner

Hi all, I have come across from the Disco forums. I am seriously thinking of changing my Discovery 4 HSE my 012. Big Cry For a 2011 Range Rover Vogue. Very Happy Please see ongarbridge.co.uk. They only have one RR for sale but the spec seems to be higher that the vogue spec. Ie it says it has adaptive dynamics. Is this standard on the Vogue? Is there a way I can check if it is fitted?.
Please have a look at the ad and give me your opinion as to what model it is.

I'm not overly familiar with that year - but the HK audio is great and the remote park heat is good to have as long as you have a decent battery.

Chrome tubes are awful IMHO, but easily removed.

I'm not sure visually if it has adaptive lights. You would have to check that on it.
Looks like a standard Vogue. Possibly one or two extras there.
I'm sure park heating remote is standard on all 2010 onwards FFRR. Definitely standard on VSE

TBH given the price they are after I'd be on the LR approved site for a Vogue SE. You will easily get one same age for that price. It'll come with 2 year warranty too.
Mileage will be slightly higher but not too much and you should easily find same colour combo.

How do I get onto the approved list. What do you get on an SE over a standard vogue? Are seats thicker etc.

Regards

Ian

Quite a lot extra on a VSE over a Vogue.
Biggest difference is the Vogue has Oxford leather and normally not cooled. The VSE has Semi-Aniline leather which is softer and is heated and cooled as standard. Bit like on the D4 when the XS has normal leather and the HSE has windsor leather.

Adaptive cruise control I believe. Possibly auto dimming wing mirrors. Possibly dual view standard too.

I've only had my car a couple of months and the air cooled seats are amazing. Almost always on in my car.

Good luck looking but you may get more for your money on the LR site. Also ones members on here like the D3 forum selling their ones.

Thanks for the reply, the car I'm looking at has Windsor leather, is that not as good as Oxford leather?

FFRR don't have Windsor. Pretty sure they don't.

Oxford on a Vogue. Bit harder/tougher firmer the leather is and they have piping.
VSE and AB have semi-aniline. Much softer leather.

The pictures in the ad, do show piping, but states, it is Windsor leather, it is all getting a bit confusing.

Not a leather expert, but cars with cooled seats have the controls each side of the clock on the dash. There is no space. Cooled seats were an option on Vogues so some may have it.

I hear the softer leather doesn't wear as well, but not sure if that is true ? 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

You can get well spec'd Vogue models too. We had a 4.2SC which was VSE spec. We now 'only' have a Vogue and it's very nice. We survived the scorchio UK summer without cooled seats. In fact, we even resorted to using the heated seats Laughing

Actually started looking for AB or VSE spec only and would skip past Vogue adverts. Having been up and down the country for months, opted for a Vogue due to stumbling across it on a main dealer forecourt. It looked superb even without knowing what badge it wore. In the event, it had some nice extras, very low mileage and was in standout condition compared to the less cared for plethora of AB and VSE's we'd viewed.

If you contact Site sponsor Dan at Duckworths (or any LR parts dept) and supply the VIN they can send you the build sheet for any RR you're interested in.

This Vogue v VSE thread might be of interest too Thumbs Up
