Hi, just picked up my 2012 Autobiography 4.4 tdve yesterday and going through my usual process of looking for gifts for my new car - as is always the way I start with a nice keyring

Googling round I discovered the solid silver special 40th anniversary autobiography fob, that has appeared in chat here a few times (as revealed by the search function)

If anybody has one sat around in a drawer they'd like to see go to a good home please let me know - I know they are quite pricey to start with so let me know your price.

untill your search bears fruit, you (could) can get a similar one on the old ebay, but with sport at the end unde the 'PHY' script. in stainless i think, looks to be exact 'copy' though.....around £5 -10 it looks better than no keyring, when put on a table,

swirls well in the old 'wife swapping key-bowl' too.

thanks, seen them for sale, think they about the £80 new, its just that 'sport' word, it doesn't seem appropriate somehow.

probably invalidates my warranty.

I think you can only buy them, if you can prove you own an AB, as you only get one with the car.

That's certainly the case for the 40th Anniversary Autobiography Black Edition Silver key-ring. I think they are £99 or thereabouts from the dealer once you've given them your VIN.

well i guess you COULD just take a photo of another AB chassis vin that is displayed on the windsceeen bottom.... hopefully its a genuine AB! and maybe a picture or two of you pretending to 'own it' flash your keys on the counter..... say the car is being serviced etc. maybe ask if they could quote you a service etc, they might bite at the chance of more business......

reminds me of the story about the maclaren supercar. (mid nineties) you couldnt buy the watch, without the car, and the golf clubs where the same.

i gues you could buy the watch thesedays on a beach in Spain!
