United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Zermatt Silver
2008 TDV8 Value 105k

Decided to jump ship and return to Mercedes for a while, have a E350 itch I have to scratch, it's probably better for me to sell mine privately than go the p\x route but what sort of money should I be looking at, good bits, 2007 105k, full service history, silver, all the usual toys plus heated front and rear seats, sat nav, heated wheel, venture cam, digital tv, updated bluetooth, removable tow bar, supercharged rear lights, adaptive zenon headlamps, rear tints, colour coded door handles, auto lights & wipers, carpets and rubber mats, IID tool, good leather with no bolster wear, recent four wheel alignment.
Bad bits, chip on front bumper and slight bubbling on n/s rear arch, I looked for a good while to find a clean one but know its going to cost me to sell, point is how much, what would be a fair sale price ? any replies much appreciated as I have no idea of price

From what i've seen on ebay probably £25k - £30k. There are slightly higher mileage 2009 onwards cars on there for that.

I would expect you'll now get a load of replies with some people saying it's worth much much more (because they have a similar car and don't want to admit it's worth less than they think) and others saying it's optimistic (as they're looking to buy one) Laughing It's the way this kind of post normally goes on internet forums.

All a bit subjective I know but take a look on the LR approved used list. There's a 2010 with 72K on there for £27K. Yours is 2 years older with 35k more miles and doesn't come with the LR 2 year used car warranty.

http://www.usedvehicles.landrover.co.uk/search#/details/2626349

Put yourself in the position of a buyer. What would you think is the right price for such a car? For me a 2 year warranty, 2 years younger and 35k less miles adds up to between 5 and 9K price difference depending on condition. So some place between £18K and £22k would be my guess at a retail price.

Also, living near Measham BCA site I do see some right old snotters going through there for 12 to 14K. Some look OK but almost all have loads of miles and incomplete service history. The good stuff is tending to stay in the LR network at the moment so I can't say what I nice one might fetch at auction. You might try WBAC or Evans Halshaw car supermarkets for a trade-in value which would give you an idea. You could also see what site sponsor Gaz Elliott might be prepared to give you for it. He's fairer than most of the trade and really choosy what he buys.

I recently agreed a sale of my 2010 TDV8 with 80,000 miles. I got online prices from Glasses and Parkers. They were both very close together and the price I got was in line with their values. My advice would be to pay for adjusted valuations from those sources and use them to price your FFRR

Hi,

Sorry but I think I am going to disappoint you. I tried to part ex my 2008 VSE 3 months ago at a main dealer and was offered £13,500. It was in excellent condition with FLRSH. Given that its one year newer than yours with 20k fewer miles I would say you would be doing well to get £12,500 in a private sale.

Not sure where Zircon got his figures from. The figures seem very very optimistic to me. Could be a mistype though.

Hope this helps.

Paul

I put my 2008 VSE with 150k miles into WBAC, they offered less than £10K (a LOT less than £10k)!

There's not a hope in hell that you'll get anywhere near £20K. Sorry to burst your bubble Rolling Eyes Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

I think his is a vogue not vse ,as he doesn't mention rear entertainment .
As for price it all boils down to how long you want to wait for it to sell .
Ball park I'd say between 11 -13k
Sorry Sad 2007 tdv8 se ,stornaway grey

Yes, more doom and gloom from my experience '58 plate VSE on 62Kmiles WBA £15K, px £16.5-17. Decided to buy a warranty and keep it as i wouldn't be moving into anything as good!

I would suggest putting it up for about £14k and take an offer 2015 Range Rover VSE 4.4 SDV8. 1998 BMW 840 Sport, 2008 Aston Martin DB9
2009 Triumph Bonneville, 1959 Triumph Bonneville, 1969 Triumph Bonneville, 1975 T160 Triumph Trident, 2014 Suzuki Gladius, 1990 Harley Davidson Fat Boy.

Thanks for all replies, so now looking at between less than 10k Sad to a high of 25 to 30 (bit optimistic) Shocked done some homework and decided to go at about 14 and take offer, if it doesn't go might just chuck a few quid at it to fix rear arch
and get bumper painted, get it mapped and keep it, still a very nice car 😃
