As the wife doesn�t use the �humbug� much anymore and she wanted to stay with 7 seats! & likes a manual gearbox! She decided it was time to go up in the world (in terms of comfort at least!)

She�s an older D3 i have face lifted to look more like the D4/5 commercial... That way, if Lorna likes it i may well buy her a newer version??? & if not i can sell it at a profit with a facelift & a few issues sorted

I really like that.

The unpainted arches contrast well with the paint colour. The wheels look purposeful yet not blingy. Colour is good and not showy but has an air of restraint about it. I like the front end. Really good job! Si. <This is my name.

I have always liked the D4 over the D3 but its a great shame they dont fit a V8 lump in the D4, I would kill an oil burner on the milage I do  If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Those wheels suit the Disco far better than the L405 IMHO

We had a D3 for over 3 years and it was brilliant. A very appealing prospect if you can refresh to that standard

I have a similar as a runabout mine is actually 2005 XS (2015 facelifted) and the wife's after it now after lending it to her...

Guys, you are going to make me miss my own converted D3...

Plus the fact madame recently said she now likes D3/D4 and would consider one when replacing here FL2, this is tempting indeed to convert one to 2015 specs...

Here's my 2005 SE, upgrade to 2010 model in early 2010, after the septembre 2009 presentation of the D4 with complete colour change and several upgrades. This was not technically challenging but quite time consuming (Nobody I knew had do it or done a write up - mind you finding the part was not easy!).

Today I would hire a specialist such as Craig to work his magic though!
