I couldnt do without it. It's about £40 to fill up and I get 200-250 miles from that vs £120 to fill up with petrol and I guess I would get 250-300 miles per tank?

So that's 16-20p per mile or 40p+ per mile. With the mileage I do it will pay for itself after 1 year.

Just booked my LPG install with these guys: http://www.professautogas.co.uk/

£1300 includes an 85L tank in the spare wheel well and relocation of the EAS pump to the corner of the well, rather than into the storage bin as per my old one.

56ppl again please. I don't know how you guys can afford to drive a RR at £1.20pl!

I am trying to decide between the above and http://www.lpgwales.com/ both charging £1300 fully fitted with a dual Vaporiser for my 5.7l V8 Hemi Grand Cherokee (S/C eating in Stock Car)

Profess Autogas seem to have good reviews across the interwebs, specifically on the MG forums and those guys are pretty discerning!

I like the fact they can turn the car around in one day too. I think they also give you some software and a data cable to be able to talk to the LPG ECU which appeals to me!

Yes I agree I was coming down in favour of profess Autogas as they have more experience on V8's, a bigger team and courtesy cars! (Both do a one day turnaround)

Random RS4 interjection.

Dan what system are they installing?

I got 325 miles from a tank last week after my gas service.

The filter was bogging. 15MY SDV8 Vogue SE

325 Miles is good, the most I every got was 250 out of 75L. What size tank is yours?

Do you not get bored of:

The smell
The noise
The smoke
The lack of power
The tedious gear changes
The poor torque range

Rolling with laughter

I actually drive one and have to say it's not my experience. Then again I have a 110 to compare it against.

Maybe mine was remapped by a previous owner (but not as far as I know), but is far better than any V8 I've had in previous LR's Very Happy

Main thing is you are happy with your choice and thats all that really matters. 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS

Anyway- back onto FBH. According to this and other threads, it's standard on ALL diesels. I don't appear to have it? I don't have the remote anyway. How do I get it working? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
