i agree, price x mileage = result

£5000 in autotrader anyday.

I'm not looking for the cheapest one, but for the most reliable one.

Pro this one: Mileage, preferred colour combination, finally also the price and an enthusiast driving it.

Against: Bonnet needs a respray, radio, missing parcel shelf (are they really 250 quid used???). Also I would need to replace the tinted front windows and the tow hook is, well, not realy stylish

If she sells well on ebay, lucky Sam. If, as usual, there are only Ghost bidders, I can still chat with him later. If she comes here, she'd be in good company with 3 Classics and a P38...

Don't let the tow bar or the windows put you off..

Tow bar is fixed with a single pin to remove the whole rear part. This can be replaced with the detachable part as it just slides back in and put the pin through. It is a Genuine Westfalia land rover one so designed to be interchangeable between the two.

Front window tints would peel off and then clean up if you wanted too

How much would you expect for her - bonnet, radio and a/c sorted?

I would probably expect to be in the £5 to £5.5k bracket then I guess

I have just decided to leave those choices re fix to standard or fix and upgrade at the same time. Plus I want to spend my time playing with my shiny new tdv8
