I am thinking about fitting some illuminated sill plates to my 2011 AB and wanted to ask if anyone knows if the car would be pre wired to connect them? Also is it a DIY or garage job to change over?

My 2010 5.0L A/B did not have the wiring. I extended the wire and spliced them into the lower dash lights. Bought mine from Dan at Duckworths. I believe they were only fitted from 2012.
