I recon inlet manifold leak, has your PCV valve and associated pipework been changed (see WIKI) if not a leak somewhere else, even heard of the manifolds getting loose so check the nuts for tightness.... Pete

Ok I thought the message meant that the lambda was trying to reduce the amount of fuel and exceeded the lower limit of adjustment but you're saying it's the opposite? |

If it's any help, I had that message for over a year. And 15,000 miles. If I cleared it, it would return the next day or two. The specialist said it was the K&N filter, then leaky injectors My local garage tried firstly the PCV pipes, then the fuel vent valve thingy then a lambda probe. Next was the MAF sensor which was changed - problem solved 2002 Vogue 4.4 V8

switched back to original maf because the pattern part had a smaller diameter and wouldn't seal on the intake hose. No probs for a few months but drove 12 hours yesterday and had the same prob on bank 2; live values: Idle 600rpm fluctuating between 21-25 1500 45 2000 70 Will put the pattern part in and update. Thanks for the help. 2004 L322 V8 |
