Water Dripping Drivers Door - Anyone Have This

Hi all

Heavy rain all day today and on all 3 trips out in the L405 a little bit of water has dripped onto me or the door card, I think from water that has ran onto the inner seals when I open the door because it doesn't appear to be raining in like past RR's from years ago.

I also notice water dripping from the top of the door frame onto the edge of the seat when it's been stood, has anyone else had this?

I know it's just a drip but still, i think it's fair to expect to stay dry when driving a £100k?

Thanks

I've not had this in a 405, but my 2012 WM has had this on the passenger side rear door, water dripping on to edge of seat during heavy rain. Dealer repositioned seal under warranty and it has not happened again. On driver door I have had intermittent wind noise from top of driver door, I looked at this together with the dealer when the car was wet and one could clearly see a section maybe 2" long where the seal did not meet the frame opposite. Dealer again repositioned under warranty and noise has not recurred.
So suggest refer to dealer under warranty. Again, agreed this is disappointing at this price and LR market positioning. Only Range Rovers since 1988

I am wondering when the disappointment will end lol, I recall this happening on a late P38 4.6 AB an early L322 and badly on an early Sport but for goodness sake, its not acceptable on an L405.

Our £12k Nissan Juke has never missed a beat in 34k miles, it says everything about LR quality and for their top of line product to have problems like this is shocking.

I really wanted out as many will know, only my missus blocking another purchase has kept me here, how I wish it hadn't.

I'm longing for the months to pass so I can go back to German stuff, sure it has issues to but not as ridiculous as this.

Carlos, you must realize. The English are a desert people. It hardly ever rains in the UK. That's why all English cars leak. Mr. Green
I'm sorry. I couldn't resist. Embarassed
While we all have "old Land Rover" stories, a new L405 should NOT leak. Period!

That would be a bloody nuisance, divided by a common language. letters not necessarily in the right order

Carlos, if there is a supreme deity / universe etc. controlling things, then it is saying that you should get something else Wink Smile Smile Smile Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Otherwise, likely to be a seal issue or door alignment. Didn't you have a door alignment issue with this one as well ??

Alternatively you could do a lazy unlock (lowering the windows) and enter/exit Dukes of Hazard style after taping the seams shut with duct tape Wink MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

I really can't change it, unless I want to be single again Rolling with laughter

I've listed the several issues I have with LR Customer Relations, let's see.
