I was at the CLA Game Fair at Harewood House on Sunday (after being at Billing on Saturday) and was pleased there were plenty of Land Rovers to look at there too, including Bishops 4x4, who do the extremely nice RRC restorations we have seen.

On their stand was a 1971 RRC 2 door, fully restored and custom paint job, complete with full tan leather interior and black leather covered bespoke dashboard, and under the bonnet an Aston Martin V12 engine pushing out about 450BHP through an Auto box. It had a nice wooden steering wheel signed by Sir Stirling Moss too.

The chap who owned it was there and when chatting to him he said his passion used to be bikes but he rode one off a cliff and broke his neck and so now sticks to 4 wheels. The customer paint job (a sort of Union jack) was his homage to his bike's paint scheme. he seemed very posh!

He started it up for me and I got to hear him rev the nuts off it, it sounded mental. I'll try and upload a video to Youtube.

The dash was amazing. It was a TFT screen like in the L322 2010MY cars, but was a replica lok of the Range Rover dash from the mid 90's hard dash version. At the flick of a switch though he could change it completely to a bespoke racing version. It was very nice indeed.

Apparently cost him �130K to have it done and I talked to the Bishops guys. Apparently the boss man has a Supercharged RR and its pushing 630BHP!
