Just been sent a video of an item that has been picked up on the complementary health check whilst they have the vehicle for the brake hose recall.

You would have thought that they would be able to tell if it's diesel or not, as you say by, by the smell.

Managed to have a look. Removed the trays underneath and there was clear evidence of a small oil leak that had been there for some time. Laying on the floor and looking up into the engine bay on the drivers side initially didn't show anything but then the beam of the torch caught something glistening very high up on the engine. From above worked out what I had seen from below,

Further to the issue of the leak I found the source of the problem yesterday.
