France 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Java Black
Discovery Sport

I've just come back from the tip where I saw a Discovery sport. After the owner had emptied it out he showed me around it. I was quite impressed as to how cavernous the interior was. Wifey wants to replace her TT with an older Evoque. I now think she should wait a while until used prices on the Discovery sport drop a bit.
Point of this post is that I'd happily encourage wifey to buy a Discovery sport and that I now have a higher opinion of it Thumbs Up
However it is not a Discovery in any way shape or form and should be called the Freelander Sport.

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

Or just freelander 3.

Was quite impressed with the one I had as a courtesy car until the rear tailgate lining fell on my head! The pops had come detached somehow (not my fault) and it dropped off when people nopened the boot!

Rest seemed decent quality though! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue

We've had one out as a courtesy car twice now. It was the middle spec Diesel manual that we had.

It was a nice car, was quite quick, handled well and was nicely put together. Unfortunately for me, there's a big BUT... It wasn't as comfy as the 2007 Freelander that we had in for a service, it was noticeably a Diesel which let it down for me as our Freelander is a straight 6 Petrol, when not pushing on down the backroads the suspension was quite firm.

For me, I'd be swerving the Disco Sport and looking to buy one of the very, very last of the Freelander 2's.

England 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black

Had one for a week as courtesy, well specked think was a HSE? Was £37k on courtesy disclaimer paperwork.
Was an auto & felt I had to thrash the nuts out of it to get it to go tho, pulling out was a bit hairy sometimes!!
Handled well once moving & like others said nice & roomy.
Road noise was quite high on motorways.
Looks ok & I liked the spec but couldn't live with one.
A FF it isn't! (I know it's not trying to be Thumbs Up ) 2011 (MY12) 4.4 TDV8 Vogue

2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Caravanning friend of ours has just taken delivery of a manual gearbox. He said he does have to give it some welly to get going and it's not a Range Rover but he's very happy nonetheless. He's gone from a 2.7 RRS HSE so a bit of a comedown.

His is white with a black roof and very dark grey wheels. It's a bit bling but actually nice to the eye.....I wouldn't ask how much he'd paid but I can imagine it started with a 3

He also tested the Hyundai Santa fe....and said there's not much between them.....this from a man who has a SII in his other garage ! Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
