Can RR be programmed to auto-lock?

Hi,
I have a 08MY VSE TDV8. The dealer have set her up to unlock drivers door on first press and all other doors on second press but state that the Range Rover can not be programmed to auto-lock when driving off above 5mph or so. All BMWs can have this and I was surprised to hear that the RR cannot be done.
Any idea whether this is true.
Kind regards,

It tells you how to enable it in the Owners manual - on 2010MY cars it's an option to enable / disable it in the dashboard menu. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Only a dealer can enable it on anything up to 2010. Sad.

The RRS automatically unlocks too. whereas the FFRR doesn't, even when the dealer enables the auto lock.

I know and 2010MY don't auto unlock either, as my passengers usually find out, so i have disabled it unless I am driving in town at night! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I had my 09 (58 Reg) TDV8 programmed by the dealer to AutoLock. All the doors lock as soon as you move off. Can be a PITA when you get to the fuel station or want to get the dog out of the back as you must remember to press the button before you get out. Otherwise, you have to reach back in to the drivers area when you find that you can't open the fuel flap or open the tailgate......... Only unlocks and opens the door whose handle you are pulling - doesn't unlock everything else. Neutral The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile
