Well, if you go for the iPhone 4 (the current gen) you will be very pleased! The screen is unlike any other phone out there, it has pretty decent RAM (512MB) and 1GHZ PPC CPU so it runs pretty fast! 300.000 apps available in the Appstore (which cannot be compared neither to eh 60000 of Android nor to the Nokia ovi store... which has a lot less)! It has nearly every feature except the FM radio (who listens to that anyways), great camera, takes great videos and well, on the software side, it cannot be compared with anything right now!

Then, it depends how much you like it! I say try the current gen from one of your friend (which should have some apps installed) and you'll be very pleased! Fresh out of the box it feels a little cold, but it will eventually grow on you!

P.S. (I've been a prowd owner of 8 iPhones, 4 Nokias and 2 BlackBerrys since 2007) and I can say it gets better every year! I've not seen any progress from Nokia in ages, and the BB's are just plain boring! 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior

Being in the business I am in ..... best phone IMHO on the market for an ALL rounder is the basic Blackberry Curve. Battery life is stunning and it actually works as a phone. I don't have one, I have an iPhone 3GS, a Blackberry Bold 9000 and a Sonim S1 .... but my wife, kids and friends have Curves lol Wink

iPhone is a cool toy, but the battery life is just not practical for a business device. iPad, different ball game, ultimate VNC/RDP client for me - 10 hour battery life for a "laptop", amazing! Land Rover Addict

I know, I'm a geek Rolling Eyes

As Thrasher said, it all depends or your needs! For me battery life is not important as I'm pretty much indoors most of the time, the iPhone 4's battery is much improved over the 3GS, still no comparison to the BB Bold 9000! 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior

If you have the i-phone download the App Ringtone Designer, That way when you download your own CD's onto your phone you can pick a 30 second snippet out of the song and assign it to your contacts ............

I know you can do this with other phones , this is just plain and straightforward to do ..... Thumbs Up
