Anyone had any experience with Canyon bikes?

Looking at an endurance as bang for buck looks better than other brands but is it worth the risk of lack of actually sitting on one? 2011 (MY12) 4.4 TDV8 Vogue

I've only heard good things, and given that the 2nd and 3rd placed riders in the Tour De France were on Canyon's i.e. team Movistar, they must be doing a lot right.

I think the philosophy of cutting out the middlemen i.e distributor and retailers, and passing the savings on to the consumer is a great

Some thoughts on getting the sizing / geometry right;

- via a club / forum can you get to see one / sit on one ??

- get a "well informed" friend to help you make sure you get the sizing right - remember there is lots of tweaking you can do with it once you've got it

- if you get it and think you've done the wrong thing I think they do a no quibble 30 day money back guarantee.

I think they look great and would be very tempted for my next purchase

Thanks for the tips ceegee. Mate does iron man / triathlons so will talk to him for advice about sizing it.
Seen loads of v good reviews for them, few less so but always going to get odd ones.
Won't stretch to a factory setup but like you say no middle man means massive spec for your money.
Time to get measured up n look at a build time.
