Talk sweetly to her, treat her nicely and consol her by saying that had you a big enough budget to by a nice new Range Rover she would have seen it coming in the rear view cam and heard it on the parking sensors.............. I feel your pain ITLAD, drove down south to pick up my Cayenne on Saturday, five minutes from my destination I receive a call from my better half that she has crashed her car, reversing it into the Garage....

As she was in tears, I told her not to worry etc. but it did take the shine off picking up my new steed....

And to rub it in, I gave her money to go shopping in Glasgow before I left at 7am....

However, on inspecting the car on my return, it's only a wheel-arch which has a gouge out of it. I'm sure my uncle's bodyshop will fix it for a reasonable price....

Do you think it'd be cheeky to ask for the money back to repair the car... Then again, maybe not...
