Decisions decisions!

Fancy a FFRR, started off with an £8-10k budget for my car, then looked at what I could get, so upped it a bit to accommodate a facelift, now I've settled on facelift and newer interior, so budget getting silly...

Initially wanted a Supercharged, but they seem strong money, and also seem to struggle to sell (I have to think about this as I get bored easy and sell my toys in 3-6 months).

So, TDV8 or Supercharged....I REALLY would want newest possible, but don't want to stretch to £14-15k.

Heeeeelp! Thumbs Up

Supercharged every time! Thumbs Up

You don't have a black and white TV just because the licence fee is a bit cheaper do you?!

Besides, holistic overall ownership costs and the SC is cheaper in my opinion.

Good luck! 2006 4.2 SC

That's my thinking as well. Just had a V10 5.2, so fuel isn't a problem, well, it is, but you know... Rolling with laughter

I have to say after trying to help you via pm ( not trying to convince you mine is the one for you ) I find your post amusing and if you want what you are describing you will have to find the money and I am not trying to push mine here !

And as for hard to sell as I have said in pm its not your every day car and a lot of people out there want cars that do silly amounts of MPG or they want something for silly money Whistle

You might pick one up within your budget but all I will say is good luck with it and hope you have the funds to throw at it as I have thrown in excess of 26K at mine , thats including buying it.

But as said in pm I wish you luck in your search Thumbs Up

ps .... just got a phone call from a guy who has been in mine a week ago and has kept in contact since and is on his way over to have another look, I know he wants the car , its just making that decision to part with the money so heres hoping Thumbs Up

Sounds like you've taken my post a little personally, no idea why? I enquired about your car via PM, said it was out of my budget, and that's that?

In terms of hard to sell, I'd say yes, they're not like a 1.2 Fiesta that will fly out the door, 6 weeks plus is a long time, for me, to sell a car.

Thanks for the advice and GLWS
