I am after some ideas from your goodselves. I am about to upgrade to a 4.4 TDV8 which leaves me with my old TD6, not worth trading it in as it has led a hard life and having had it for 9 years I don't want to get rid of it,. Sad but there you go...anyway I have earmarked c.£5K to do things to it so my question is, what would you do, all thoughts gratefully received. It will still need to be used on road and tow (SWMBO doesnt realise she is not putting a shed load of horse carp in the new one). Apart from that anything goes..

Having read most of the tyre threads I dont think you can go that route with it, Ive got 275s and they look OK but not chunky, I would like to go down the ruggedised route but struggling to find equipment for 322

Winch, cooper LTZ's on 20", facelift to 2012, as a starter for 10. Then read riverstick thread on his gold one, which has had a fair number of mods and Pete's (hylands) too. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

i would have thought on a TD6, fitting 18" rims would be a simple affair, much greater tyre choice in terms of chunky ones for them

I'm no fisherman so haven't heard of this wee beasty - is "horse carp" a really big type of fish?
