Na was definately diesel. Wouldn't it just cough and splitter with crap diesel tho? It seems like something is limiting it to 2750-3000 revs

Definately seems like it's being limited electronically.

Will definately drain the 1/4 tank out (somehow) and change filter. But would that cause the issue of some kind of limp mode? It's definately being limited electronically rather than fuel starvation. I.e would the fuel issue throw it into a limp mode? If so does it clear itself when running ok again as in left sitting Or does it have to go on PC to clear?

The problem is all of this is guesswork until you can get it on a diagnostic. If the ECU is limiting it then this should say so, and why.

Blocked fuel filter would result in limited revs without logging a fault or showing a message on the display.

Yeah I suppose I'll have to invest in a Diagnostic machine. Until then I'll have to limp it to Beadles Main Dealer I suppose.

So Saturday and the suns shining so time to look at the FF. Threw a cheap fuel filter on (theory is to change it again in a week) and still getting exact same symptoms.

What makes you say it has antifreeze in the fuel? |

Definitely change the fuel filter again once you've had a few days running. |
