Thanks Ed for such a detailed reply ,I had a Prospeed rack on my previous vehicle which was a D4 & the rack was silent.i think the noise would put me off tbh |

I suspect that they may have designed it with the G4 in mind. If I remember correctly those racks had a floor and deflector up the front.

Hmmm. Now wishing I hadn't thrown out that "windscreen" from the boat. Would have made a useful deflector. Might try mocking one up to see the difference.
