Ride height sensor voltage

Following problems with the front height on a 2004 V8 and the suspension inactive message, a check with an Autolec diagnostics machine showed the voltage of the ride height sensors to be about 2.9 / 3.4 for three of them and 66.0 for the front left hand one. So this was duly replaced and volts still reads as 55.00 ? Any ideas ?

Has it got flipped over, if the car is jacked up there is the chance the arm can flip over, check it's the same as the other side...

If not, possibly wiring fault, they do a plug and short harness to repair them,

Can't understand 55 volts though... it only has 12 max...!!! Pete
