Whatever car I've had - Yes. A/c on all of the time. Summer or winter. Will be the same when I get my first FFRR in the near future. Very Happy

45 degrees outside of hot weather, for about 6 months, doubt i could survive without AC, might aswell sign my death warrant Very Happy
thanks for the tip, but Auto likes to throw it into full power and stays like that for a while, worried might wear her out quick, so I use manual settings , second or third setting and AC circulation internally if that makes sense Smile
keeps fog out and nice and cool, thats 21 and gradually to 24 , get cold !

22' and auto on both buttons has done me fine for yonks and is only full blast for a little bit on a warm day but quickly settles down. Does leave a nice puddle underneath though when you don't use the car for a week or more though 😄 FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Yes, always on.

Had a funny noise when I left it unused during the winter just after getting the car. Disappeared with regular use. Seems to have no effect of consumption .

I think it affects fuel consumption on small engines (1ltr), but on something with a 4ltr V8 it makes little difference.

Almost always on.

Only time it is off, is when driving for extended periods with the roof and windows opened.
No point in having the system hammered trying to put the car temp on a value when the outside air is ruining it....so off it goes.

But the typical is 98% of the time ON!

I dont leave mine on , because its makes the disagreeable farty noise from the blend valves even worse and I have not got them fixed yet. There was a disappointing sucking of teeth and a short intake of breath when I spoke to the local MD about it, so I left it for now.

The only time my air conditioning is off, is very occasionally, when I decide to drive with the sunroof or windows open.
