MPG?

Hello chaps,

One close to our hearts! Well diesel boys anyhoo. My 2004 TD6 was generally doing about 25-26mpg around town and upto 30mpg on a run. Having been away for a couple of weeks, jumped in it and now it's dropped to around the 15mpg mark Shocked

No other symptoms, no whooshing, no black smoke, no hot runnig et al. Just Censored mpg? May as well flog it and get a 4.4 if it stays around that Laughing

Just wondered if anyone else had experience of this?

Cheers fellas.

Had it about 5 months now, seemed fairly stable, but i'll keep an eye on it. Got a long run down to Farnborough at the weekend so i'll see what the old girl does on a run again.

For reference, My 4.4 gets about 15.5mpg ound town, most of my journeys in it are short ones, I saw the dizzy heights of 21.7 on a 550 mile round trip a few months back. 2006 Mercedes CLS

But really finding it hard to fight the urge for a S/C...
