I dont recall anyone running a 5.0 on LPG here Stuart... A few with 4.2’s but not 5.0’s from memory sir |

5.0's are direct petrol injection, issue is that the petrol injectors use the petrol when injected to cool the injectors, otherwise they malfunction, being in the combustion camber i.e. heat.

I've seen one and it had the Vogels (Polish I think) system on it. Uses 20% petrol and 80% LPG, as said above the petrol flow cools the injector tips which are in the cylinders, not the manifold. A very clever system from what I could tell, it even has the ability to run 7 cylinders on LPG and one on petrol if an LPG injector were to fail. Certainly a long way advanced from the days of vapour induction.
