Hi all,

I finally got around to getting the back half tinted today. After a few failed attempt with suppliers who couldn't be bothered returning calls etc I found a company in Wigan who returned my call and replied to me web mail.

I arranged to have the windows done today in Farnworth but he had booked it into the Wigan site so came to my house at 06:30 and collected it. He rang me this afternoon to say it was ready but I was in a meeting and didn't have my phone. However I had told him what I did for a living and the road our office is on and he tracked me down and turned up at work.



All in all a fantastic service from Stuart and I'm very pleased with the results. He even takes the glass out of the doors so they can get a better finish.

If anyone in this area needs tinting I highly recommend Stuart @ Reflex Window Tinting

Wow that's a good price, considering the glass had to be taken out too, it's a pig of a job to tint, I did mine on a Disco 1 many years ago, never again will I do it.

Looking great on a red FF  If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

Looks great, ff's really lend themselves to being tinted imo. Glad you are happy with the end result and sonds like a great service. I have been very happy with my tints that i had done a few months back

I added some wind deflectors today. They are Heko ones and are just clipped in, I haven't peeled the backing off the sticky pads.

just curious to know if your radio reception ok with these new tints?

It seems to work fine. I asked before there were done and the guy said it wouldn't affect it.

I've never been a fan if deflectors but got the for practical reasons and they do look quite good and I can easily take them back off.
