New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green
New Ford GT

I have not been a great fan of American car, I don't dislike them but never really found one that had the WAUW factor (for me). This one however I think is brilliant, I like the design being functional and beautiful. Would definitely consider one if I couldn't find my perfect supercar : the Murcielago Spyder Smile.

Your thoughts please..................

MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Looks spectacular , my problem is ( I wish ) that I want my super cars from some one exotic sounding and it's just badge snobbery on my behalf but Ford wouldn't feel right . 2008 MY Supercharged

Badge snobbery is akin to stupidity. Remind me, who was it built the GT40? And how many times did it win Le Man's?

So it won’t bother you one bit if you lost the Green Oval and nailed on a TaTa badge to your FF Whistle Rolling Eyes

Thought so!

Were all badge snobs to some degree! Weather you care to admit it or not sir Whistle

Didn't Clarkson have one of the early ones? Seem to remember something about him not being able to drive from the Cotswolds to Dunsfold without having to refuel! Even our SC does better than that with my heavy right foot! Life is what happens while youre making other plans.

I'm surprised Clarkson had to refuel. From what I remember, he had no end of problems with it. I'd be surprised if he got a tank full of travel between breakdowns.

Clarkson's GT had to have an aftermarket immobiliser fitted at the insistence of the insurer's , it was this immobiliser that caused all the trouble from what I remember . 2008 MY Supercharged

tbh, no not a bit. I drive the RR because I like it, if lada would make that car I would drive it.

Most of the members here drive a second- or seventh hand RR, does that make them batchsnobs?

But back to the Ford and Eugenes' question. Supercars don't do it for me, but this ford looks absolutely great.
Beautiful lines and probably a great drive. Good to see that massproduction car makers can and will build these kind of cars.

You thought wrong Craig. No it wouldn't. A badge doesn't change the capability of the car and I'm actually quite proud of the parent company where I work. TaTa have done more for the brand than Ford/BMW/Leyland etc ever did!

I've never really cared about a badge, more the vehicle and whether it suits my needs.
