2014 BMW 7 Series: Dud.

Well, I've got one of these for a week or so, I was expecting something epic, a big but sharp driving tool with exceptional dynamics, but it's very disappointing. Noisy, unwieldy, crashy ride at low speed (but good on the m/way). I've messed about with the dynamic control settings for suspension, engine, g/box etc but not settled it at all.

It feels ancient compared to my (3 year older) A8. Is it me? Or is it a dud product? Graham

Sounds like a typical BMW. Got rid of my X5 M Sport due to the harsh ride... don't know why they are so popular! 2005 L322 Vogue Gold gone

It's not just the runflats, it's dead and lifeless. Nothing behind the eyes. Graham

Sounds like a bad one, I know the current 7 isn't best in class but it's generally regarded as a good drive Whistle

Have you tried the 6 series Gran Coupe? I have the new 6 Series Coupe and think it's a fantastic all round package Thumbs Up Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White

I've not tried the 6. Looks lovely Smile

The 7 is a loaner whilst my A8 is being mended. I'm not insured to swap the A8 for a 7 series that's for sure. Graham
